Camp Blanket swaddles the wearer in color and cables similar to cozying up next to the fire. This sweater lets the knitter do a little bit of everything: cables, colorwork, and seaming. The oversized, cropped length ensures a fashionable fit perfect for surf shorts or hiking pants.
Each section is worked individually before seamed together. Increases inside the cable motif creates a natural v-neck. The collar is picked up and knit along either side then seamed at the bottom of the neck.

Designed to be worn with 8-10” / 25.5-35.5 cm ease at chest. Model rocks the Size 4 with 9”/23 cm ease.

Overall Construction: Front, Back, Side Fronts & Backs, and Sleeves are knit from the bottom up flat. Shoulders are seamed, Side Fronts & Backs are seamed to Front and Back pieces. Sleeves are sewn like a square onto the sweater body. Collar is picked up and knit, then seamed at the bottom. Colorwork sections are knit using needles a size smaller than Cabled sections.

Needles: US 7, 8, 9 / 4.5, 5.0, 5.5 mm 32” / 81.5 cm.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
